Asymmetric Two-Tone Ring
The Story of This Piece
The Keepsake Asymmetric Two-Tone Ring was made for the woman whose late husband was — by her own admission — a little odd, a little off-kilter, never quite symmetrical about anything. And who wants a ring that remembers him the way he was.
A single round CZ stone sits offset to one side of the top face — not centered, deliberately placed left of the midline. The band splits into two tones: half gold-plated, half polished sterling silver, meeting at the setting at an angle rather than a clean vertical. The two metals don't try to match. They do different things and share the same ring. 925 sterling silver core with 18k gold plating on one side of the shank.
When I imagine you wearing it, I imagine someone at a dinner noticing the ring and saying 'that's unusual.' You say 'yes, it is.' You don't explain. They move on. You pick up your fork.
