The Legacy Turquoise Wave Ring was made for the grandmother who grew up near the water — who moved away from it in her twenties and has been thinking about it again lately.
A polished sterling silver band with a wave pattern running around the entire circumference. The wave channels are filled with muted turquoise enamel — the color of the sea in old postcards, not the bright blue of tropical water. The pattern is a single continuous wave, cresting and falling around the full ring. The silver is bright on the peaks and valleys; the enamel fills the hollows. The band is thicker than most Adelaide rings, meant to be felt.
When I imagine you wearing it, I imagine sitting at a diner near the coast on a weekday in October. You ordered tea. You're reading the paper. The wave on the ring catches the light from the window and the blue matches the ocean outside.
