The Legacy Earrings (Heritage Filigree) were made for the woman who inherited a single filigree earring from her grandmother — and has kept it in a drawer for 24 years waiting for a match.
Each earring is an Edwardian-inspired openwork silver frame — teardrop or fan-shaped — with tiny marcasite or CZ accents scattered through the scrollwork. Lever-back or fishhook. Vintage in feel, not in age. 25 to 40 millimeters long. They look like they belonged to someone else first, and that's intentional.
When I imagine you wearing them, I imagine opening the box. You take out the new pair. You decide that you don't need the single one from the drawer to match anymore. You put these on instead. You keep the old one, though.
