The First Year Pendant (Emerald Teardrop) was made for the widow who wants the emerald closer to her heart than to her hand — and who needs the teardrop shape to do some of the work her face is tired of doing.
The pendant is a pear-cut lab emerald, 8 by 10 millimeters, held in a gold bezel that wraps the full edge of the stone. The teardrop is explicit — pointed at the top, rounded at the bottom. 18k gold plating over sterling silver. The chain is thin so the stone is what you see.
